Residency Programs

Our mission at NBPAS is to expose a diverse group of students to life experiences to all forms of the performing and visual arts, as well as sports programming through residency programs set up throughout Westchester County and NYC. We accomplish this by employing artists and sports coaches, who have a passion for community upliftment by utilizing their gifts and talents to instill skill, technique and development for adulthood.

NBPAS custom designs and pairs teaching artist/coaches with organizations and schools according to its unique needs.

 

In schools, NBPAS Teaching Artists and Coaches work closely with collaborating classroom teachers of students in Kindergarten through 12th Grade. Our programming is also attentively designed for grade level and fulfills the NYS Physical Education and Arts standards. We specifically focus on standards outlined in The New York City Blueprint for the Arts, when planning and crafting each program. Below are some (but not limited to) disciplines our teaching artists and coaches can provide.

(Film Making, Animation)
